SportCourt floor donated to St Lucia Volleyball Association

ST LUCIA, February 25, 2015 – A brand-new outdoor synthetic floor donated by NORCECA Confederation has been installed in campus B of the Vieux Fort Comprehensive School.

The donation of SportCourt surfaces, indoor and outdoor, forms part of the development plan of NORCECA in order to improve the training conditions of the players.

Brian Louisy, president of the Saint Lucia Volleyball Association, thanked the local authorities such as the District Representative and the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the help and getting the much needed duty free and tax clearance to get the floor.

A group of volleyball coaches, instructors and teachers worked very hard to ensemble down the floor properly. It included Keam Charlery, Hervon Brown, Florian Combie, Darnell Eudoixe,  Julian Bissette Sr, Augustin Faulkner and Cesar Taylor.

Louisy took time to especially thank NORCECA President, Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, who made it all possible donating the SportCourt floor to SLVA.

“We cannot say thank enough to Mr. Marte Hoffiz for this,” expressed an elated Louisy, who informed that the president of NORCECA will visit St Lucia from March 6-8 to attend the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) Congress and the SLVA 2015 Recognition Evening.
