St Maarten assures semi-final berth

ROSEAU, DOMINICA, Sept 22, 2023: St Maarten made it victory number three when they beat Saba 3-0 ( 25-18, 25-11, 25-10) to earn a semi -final spot from Pool A, in the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association( ECVA) Under-23 Women’s Championships, here at the Massacre Indoor Facility.

Kadesha Daniel – Captain of Saba: “ Our first set was our strongest set but after we started to fall short and we never regained our momentum in the match, but have learnt from this match which would serve us in good stead in the future”.

Leonardo Romeo- St Maarten Head Coach: “ Coming off our win against Saba, it has sealed the deal by putting us into the semi-finals… We have done our homework and the girls are more than determined as the goal is always to have the St Maarten flag flying high after the final”.

Action switches to Pool B, when Dominica meets Anguilla.
