previously lost all three previous matches, inclusive of a
defeat at the hands of Anguilla.
The combined scoring efforts of Cedric Billionniere, an Outside
Hitter and Rotilio Richardson, an Opposite Hitter, both
contributed 12 points each, for St Martin.
Sherwin Richardson, an Outside Hitter, garnered 18 points for
Anguilla.
Winning the bronze was in some way, a consolation for Head Coach
of St Martin Thierry Stephen.
“I am pleased with the third place but I think we could have
done better”, Stephen related.
Reflecting on the overall tournament, Stephen stated, “It is
always a pleasure to play in such tournaments as it gives us the
opportunity to showcase our young talents… What we have to do is
go back to St Martin and make an evaluation of the tournament
and move on from there”. |
