                Oranjestad, St. Eustatius,  July 11, 2014 - The scores will not
                reflect the  valiant effort poured in by home team St. Eustatius
                as they lost in three sets to neighbours St. Kitts Nevis (25-11;
                25-18; and 25-22) in the closing game of Day 2 of the  ECVA

                "Tonight we lost to a team that we know the best in the Eastern
                Caribbean. I am just disappointed that he result could not have
                been better. They have not changed their style or pattern of
                play very much over the years and we should have been able to do
                a better job. Nevertheless we will remain motivated for the face
                saving game tomorrow against the Dutch"

                Substitute  captain of the Dutch team Carla Duinkerk  agreed
                with his views. "We trained really hard and came out to put out
                our best effort, of course we are disappointed that that we lost
                but we are not disheartened" she said.

                opponents. "Tonight they showed that they are an improved team
                and fought for every point. For our part we played with
                confidence and we took the opportunity to try different
                rotations. In the last two games however we had to use
                experience to douse the spirited efforts of the hosts" he
                reported.
