HATO MAYOR and CABARETE, Dominican Republic,
April 17, 2022 – The men’s teams Sond, Avanzada
Supersonico in Pool A and Los Cocos, Puñal and
Efectos in Pool B have advanced to the
quarterfinals of the Holy Week 2o22 Beach
Volleyball Festival Hato Mayor/Vicentillo at
Rancho Dona Callita.
In the women’s field, Ron Bow Gil will meet Los
Multis and Leones go against Ems-Sport in the
semifinals of the event in its 26th edition.
More than 40 teams are participating in the
traditional event dedicated this year to former
player Flor Colón.
The different divisions include Free,
Corporations, and Masters in both genders with
prize money close to $1 million Dominican pesos.
In Cabarete, the women’s teams of Villa Tapia
owned the podium with Las Elites, Las Primas and
Soles grabbing the top three places.
In the men’s competition, Cabarete International
took first place followed by Sosua and Elite.
NORCECA Confederation contributed with Molten
beach volleyballs as part of the program to
expand the practice of beach volleyball in the
