Suriname march into CAZOVA Under-18 final
SPANISH TOWN, Jamaica, July 26, 2019 - Suriname easily made
their entrance to the final of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball
Association girls' Under-18 competition on Friday, when they
stopped Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 at GC Foster College of Physical
Education and Sport.
Trinidad and Tobago failed to offer much resistance in the first
two sets of the semi-final clash, as most of their points during
that period, were gifted to them and although leading for most
of the third set, were overhauled by Suriname to win with set
scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-21.
Suriname await the winner of the second semi-final between
Barbados and the United States Virgin Islands, which will also
take place Friday morning. The competition's final will be
played Saturday afternoon at the same venue. |
