BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, December 12, 2015 - Captain unstoppable
Marlon Philip scored an impressive 31 points to see Trinidad &
Tobago create history by making the finals of the CAZOVA Junior
championships at the Wildey Gymnasium in Bridgetown.

				T&T defeated Curaçao 25-20, 25-21, 25-22 with Philip blasting
the ball from every area of the court.  Shruendy Valeriano tried
to lift his team with 17 points but the task was too much as he
could not get enough support to blunt Philip.

Coach Gideon Dickson was thrilled that his inexperienced team
had created history of reaching the finals for the first time.
"At this stage I am just thrilled with what my boys have
achieved.  I cannot say who we would like to play in the finals.

"We took care of the French, the Spanish and Dutch. We have not
dealt with the English force, Barbados, so we shall see what
must be done in Sunday's finals," said Dickson. |
