BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, December 13, 2015 - Former queens Trinidad
&Tobago captured the bronze at the 10th CAZOVA championship by
stopping the United States Virgin Islands in straight sets at
the Wildey Gymnasium in Bridgetown.
T&T played a more consistent game to take the game 25-21, 26-24,
25-23 with Nicolette De Mille scoring 13 points and Aaliyah
Alexis adding 10 for the winners.
The Rosa sisters led once again for USVI with Khrysti making 13
and Khrystin adding 10 for a team which was unfortunate in
playing unbeaten until the semis and the bronze medal match.
T&T and their large group of supporters could not contain their
joy for the success of the inexperienced group of girls. |
