TTO and Aruba Boys top both groups

ORANJESTAD, Aruba, July 7, 2018 - The CAZOVA (Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association) Youth Olympic Beach Volleyball Qualifier kicked off, Eagle Beach Oranjestad, Aruba.

In group A Daynte Stewart and Marley Davidson defeated Dean Kasdi and Brasley Soetowikromo of Suriname 21-16 and 21-11 and Clifton Clarke and N’Gozi Thompson of Jamaica 21-12 and 21-18 to advance directly to the Semi Finals. Jamaica finished the group in second place with a 21-19 21-14 victory over Suriname.

Aruba’s Brian Howell Brokken and Raibiently Mercalina dominated the sand which was very pleasing to the local supporters. They registered a 21-11 21-11 victory over ISV’s Williams Clements and Joseph Sibilly Jr. followed by a 21-7 21-15 humbling of Haiti’s Phillippe Jean and Brednev Docteur. ISV placed second with a victory over Haiti 21-13 21-15.
