TTO vs USA will open Pan American Cup in Santo Domingo

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, July 2, 2018 – Six daily matches will be contested at the XVII Women’s Volleyball Pan American Cup starting from 10:00 to 20:00 at Ricardo Arias Pavilion in Santo Domingo.

Trinidad & Tobago and United States are scheduled to meet in the opening match next Sunday July 8, followed by the contest between Mexico and Brazil at noon.

Canada and Peru will open the afternoon session of day one at 14:00 followed by a South American duel between Argentina and Colombia.

Puerto Rico and Cuba are to battle at 18:00 with host Dominican Republic welcomes Costa Ricaa, the representative of Central America in the annual event.

The top five ranked teams at the conclusion of the tournament will earn tickets to next year’s Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
