Teams go through inspections before U20 Cup

 

   

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 18, 2015 – The six teams taking part in the U20 Women’s Pan American Cup met all the requirements and were authorized to play following the traditional process of the preliminary enquiry conducted by members of the control committee.

Teams presented the passports of the players to verify their age and nationality as well as all the medical forms and the official uniforms at the NORCECA premises in Santo Domingo on Saturday.

Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua and Dominican Republic are the six teams competing in the third edition of the event to be held at Ricardo Arias Pavilion located in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in the Dominican capital.

In the afternoon, the referee delegates conducted the practical clinic to test the VIS and the duties of the supporting personnel and also held a rehearsal of the opening and closing ceremony.

The top three teams will receive trophies and medals and twelve players will be awarded individually.
