The ECVA pledges support for President Marte Hoffiz
CASTRIES, St Lucia, March 8, 2015 - Thirteen of the Eastern
Caribbean Volleyball Association members have pledged their
support for Cristobal Marte Hoffiz in his bid for reelection as
president of NORCECA Confederation.
These countries were Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bermuda, the
British Virgin Islands, Dominica, French St. Martin, Saba, St.
Kitts, Montserrat, St. Eustatius, Dutch St. Marteen, St. Vincent
and the Grenadines and St. Lucia.
Mr. Marte Hoffiz appreciated and value the support granted by
all ECVA member countries as he promised to maintain a close
working relationship with the countries of the Eastern Caribbean
region.
"We receive this important support as a commitment to continue
working for the development of the region", Marte Hoffiz said.
"The following four years will be crucial as the development of
the ECVA school volleyball program will impact our youth and
ensure future generations for our sport," he added.
Marte Hoffiz reminded the body members of the partnership they
have develop over the past four years and the level of
improvement they have undergone. He was of the view that
volleyball will continue to grow with the mutual support of all
involved.
NORCECA elections will be held on November 1, at the Punta Cana
Bavaro Beach Resort Convention Center in Dominican Republic. |
