Lodz, Poland, October 7, 2022.- The United
States won their second match in the second
stage of the Women's Volleyball World
Championship.
The American team placed its record at 2-1 in
phase 2 after defeating Turkey 3-1 (25-22,
21-25, 25-20, 25-22). The Turkish outscored the
United States in attacks while the Americans
were better in blocks (15-10) and serves (9-5).
For the United States Chiaka Ogbogu had 15
points followed by Kelsey Robinson and Andrea
Drews who added 14 and 13 points respectively.
For Turkey Zehra Gunes and Ebrar Karakurt
contributed 16 points each. |
