Arnhem, The Netherlands, September 24, 2022.- In
their first match of the Women's World
Championship for Women, the United States
carried the victory against the Kazakhstan team.
The United States vastly outscored Kazakhstan
47-24, blocked 5-3 and served 6-2 to easily beat
them in three sets 25-16, 25-13, 25-22.
For the Americans Alexandra Frantti added 14
points while Andrea Drews and Kelsey Robinson
added 13 and 12 points respectively. Tatyana
Nikitina was the best for Kazakhstan with 10
points followed by Kristina Belova who added 9.
The next commitment of the Americans is on
September 26 when they will face Canada in the
first phase of this competition. |
