United States defeated Netherlands 3-0 (25-12,
25-18, 25-16) in men’s actions of the FIVB
Volleyball Nations Leagues on Thursday.
It was the third win against one loss for the
American side.
Aaron Russell and Kyle Ensing each contributed
14 points to the American victory. Thomas
Jaeschke added 9 points.
The winners held a comfortable 42-26 advantage
in attacks and dominated in blocks (8-5) and
aces (5-0). The Americans made 15 unforced
errors to 20 by the Dutchmen. |
