TIJUANA, Mexico, April 27, 2016 - The city of Tijuana is ready
to host the Board of Administration and Executive Meetings of
the North, Central American and Caribbean Volleyball
Confederation (NORCECA).
Meetings are scheduled to begin on April 29 and will finish on
May 1. Also the Pan American Volleyball Union (UPV) statutory
assembly will take place with members of the NORCECA
Confederation and the South American Volleyball Confederation
(CSV).
Norceca staff and members arrived on Tuesday as well as the
Confederation President and FIVB First Executive Vice President,
Cristobal Marte Hoffiz.
South American Confederation officers are expected to arrive on
April 30 to participate at the Pan American Volleyball Union
Assembly.
Several topics will be part of the meetings in a year that is
key for the impact of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball when there
are less than 100 days away from the beginning of the Olympic
Games of Rio 2016. |
