Trinidad and Tobago Win Record 10th CAZOVA

 Women’s Volleyball crown

Nassau, The Bahamas, August 23, 2025. - The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago captured a record 10th CAZOVA women’s volleyball crown with a come from behind  victory over archrivals Barbados in the Kendal GL Isaacs National Gymnasium.

After grabbing the first set and leading 18-12 in the second Barbados seemed on course to win their seventh title with captain Ashley Jordan, Best Scorer Shonte Seale and Chante Moore creating headaches for T&T.

However, Most Valuable Player Channon Thompson along with outside attacker Kaylon Cruickshank and middle Natassia Baptiste halted the Bajans to take the contest 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 31-29.

Cruickshank turned the tide for T&T in that second set holding her serve from 12-18 to lock at 18 which totally deflated the Bajans. After that Barbados played catch up but could never regain control of the match.
