U21 Women’s NORCECA Pan American Cup headed to Nogales
NOGALES, Mexico, May 19, 2023. – The U21 Women’s NORCECA Pan American
Cup is headed to the City of Nogales in Sonora, Mexico from May 23-28
at the Multisport Complex of Nogales with eight participating teams.
The event is a mandatory eligibility requirement to participate in the
NORCECA U21 Women Continental Championship 2024 part of the
qualification system to the FIVB U21 Women’s World Championship.
Teams have been distributed in two groups of four; host Mexico is in
group A with Belize, Cuba and Puerto Rico, while the current champions
United States, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Guatemala are in group
B.
After the conclusion of the preliminary round, the winners from each
group will advance directly into the semifinal round, while second and
third places will compete in the quarterfinals.
