CALI, Colombia, November 30, 2021. - The Pan
American Volleyball Union -UPV- is getting set
for the Women’s Volleyball tournament of the I
Junior Pan American Games Cali-Valle 2021 at the
Evangelista Mora Coliseum from December 1-5 in
Cali, Colombia.
The event will start one day after the Men’s
Volleyball tournament finals on November 30,
with four national teams representing the
NORCECA Confederation and four from the South
American Confederation -CSV-.
The top final ranking team from NORCECA and the
top final ranking team from CSV will qualify to
the 2023 Pan American Games to be held in
Santiago, Chile.
Teams are distributed in two groups, with host
Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Suriname in pool
A, and Dominican Republic with Brazil, Puerto
Rico and Peru in pool B.
The first and second places of each pool from
the preliminary round running from December 1 to
3, will move into cross over semifinals while
third and fourth positions will play position
matches on December 4. Medal matches will be
held on December 5.
