lost to Poland 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-22)
to conclude the second week of actions at the
FIVB Men’s Volleyball Nations League on Sunday.
It was the second defeat for the USA side who
also lost to Iran as they fell down to fifth
place with a win-loss record of 6-2. Poland is
at 7-1 in second place behind France with the
same record but separated by set-ratio
Poland’s Captain Bartosz Kurek finished the
match with 23 points, followed by Kamil Semeniuk
and Aleksander Sliwka with 15 and 13,
respectively, in the victory.
Aaron Russell had 16 points as the top American
scorer, followed by Torey Defalco with 14. |
