QUEZON CITY, Philippines, June 19, 2022 – The
United States team concluded the second week of
actions of the Women’s FIVB Volleyball Nations
League with a 7-1 win-loss record following
their 3-1 (17-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-18) victory
over Thailand on Sunday.
The Americans committed 27 errors to 18 by
Thailand, but led 61-47 in attacks, 8-2 in
blocks and 5-3 in serves.
Alexandra Frantti led USA with 27 points and
three other American reached double figures in
scoring as Kelsey Robinson contributed 11
points, and Chiaka Ogbogu and Anna Stevenson
each charted 10 points.
Ajcharaporn Kongyot was the top scorer for
Thailand with 25 points, followed by Chatchu-On
Moksri with 13 points. |
