USA coach Karch Kiraly: "My compliments to the Argentina
coach and team. They are clearly improving. They had a nice
performance at the Pan American Games, so it’s a team that’s
on the rise. And compliments to our team. They did a nice
job after Argentina played strong in the third set. Our team
had a nice response and came back strong and played all the
phases of the game well.
Dominican Republic coach Marcos Kwiek: "We are happy to win.
This is a long competition. The players have to be ready for
each match. We were able to use all of our players today.
Some played well, others not so well. It was a good
opportunity for them."
