SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, September 19,
2021 – United States defeated Canada in straight
sets 3-0 (26-24, 25-17, 25-17) in the bronze
medal match of the Women’s Volleyball Pan
American Cup on Sunday.
It is the 13th medal –fourth bronze- for the
United States in the history of the competition,
including seven gold medals and two silvers.
After the fourth place finish, Canada remained
with only two bronzes.
Danielle Cuttino and Veronica Jones-Perry each
scored 15 points to lead United States. Hilary
Howe had 14 points as Canadian top scorer.

proud of this group. After the disappointing
loss last night, they came back so strong and
played as a team.”
