NINGBO, China, June 11, 2016 - United States have won their 12th
successive match across their past four major championships,
this time beating Thailand 3-0 (25-21, 29-27, 25-23) at the FIVB
World Grand Prix Group 1, with Karsta Lowe scoring a game-high
16 points in Ningbo on Saturday.
Jordan Larson, Christa Harmotto and Rachael Adams had 13, 12 and
11 points, respectively, in the victory. Pleumjit Thinkaow and
Wilavan Apinyapong finished with 13 and 11 for Thailand.
The win marks the first time USA have won four successive World
Grand Prix matches in straight sets since 2012.
Christa Harmotto, Captain of USA: "Thailand always plays hard
and they have good defense. They challenged us a lot today and
we respect that. It was a great match today and we are looking
