USA drop to 1-3 in VNL play

UFA, Russia, June 7, 2019 – Italy defeated USA 3-1 (25-13 13-25, 25-20, 25-23) to start the second week of actions in the FIVB Men’s Volleyball.

Gabrielle Nelli led Italy with 28 points, followed by Oleg Antonov and Oreste Cavuto each with 11. Benjamin Patch topped USA with 24 points and Garrett Muagututia with 13.

Each team scored with 8 blocks. Italy led in attacks 54-47 while USA team was better in serves 9-6.

Italy improved their win-loss record to 3-1, while the United States dropped to 1-3.
