BRASILIA, Brazil, June 11, 2022 – The United
States men’s team claimed their fourth victory
with one loss in FIVB Volleyball Nations League
as they outscored Japan 3-2 (17-25, 25-15,
25-21, 26-28, 15-9) on Friday.
Aaron Russell and Kyle Ensing each scored 20
points while Jeffrey Jendrik II and Thomas
Jaeschke added 16 and 11 points, respectively,
as the top offensive weapons for the American
side.
Kento Miyaura had 20 points as the leading
scorer for Japan.
In Ottawa, Canada, France blanked Canada 3-0
(25-16, 25-23, 25-21).
Berthelemy Chinenyeze was the best scorer for
the French team with 15 points. Stephen Timothy
Maar was the best Canadian with 12 points. |
