USA improve record to 8-2 at VNL

OSAKA, Japan, July 7, 2022 – The United States outplayed France 3-2 (15-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-14, 15-8) improving its win-loss record to 8-2 at the FIVB Men’s Volleyball Nations League.

Aaron Russell and Torey Defalco scored 18 and 15 points, respectively, for the United States, and Kyle Ensing added 12 in the victory.

Earvin Ngapeth led France with 19 points, followed by Stephen Boyer and Barthelemy Chinanyese with 14 and 12.

Also in Osaka, Brazil swept Canada 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-16) behind Yoandy Leal’s 15 points followed by Darlan Ferreira with 12.

Canada’s Brodie Hofer and Eric Loeppky finished with 13 and 11 points.
