RIMINI, Italy, June 18, 2021 – United States
women’s team doesn’t show signs of slowing down
as they swept Poland to increase their record at
the FIVB Nations League to 13-0 on Friday.
The American team, already qualified to the
final four phase of the 16-team annual
competition, beat Poland 3-0 (29-27, 29-27,
25-14).
The big difference between the two teams was the
blocking, one sociring category where the
winning side held a 14-5 margin.
Jordan Thompson and Michelle Bartsch-Hackley
finished with 17 points apiece for the American
side while Kimberly Hill added 13.
Magdalena Stysiak was the only Polish player
with double figures in the charts with 17
