RIMINI, Italy, June 6, 2021 – United States
trounced Germany in straight sets 3-0 (25-23,
25-13, 25-13) for their seventh victory without
losses at the FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations
League on Sunday evening.
The Americans held an overwhelming advantage in
attacks 45-27 and also dominated their opponents
in serving aces 8-3. Both teams registered four
blocks and the winners gave away 15 points in
errors while getting 18 from the losers.
Andrea Drews and Kelsey Robinson shared the lead
in the scoring charts of the United States with
17 points apiece while Jordan Larson added 10 of
her own.
Lina Alsmeier and Hanna Orthmann each registered
7 points for Germany. |
