SOFIA, Bulgaria, June 25, 2022 – United States
defeated Bulgaria 3-1 (25-12, 20-25, 26-24,
25-23) in a men’s volleyball contest of the FIVB
Nations League on Saturday.
Kyle Ensing topped the scoring charts for the
American squad with 20 points, followed by Aaron
Russell who had two blocks and four aces among
his total 16 points. Torey Defalco finished with
12.
The Americans improved their win-loss record to
6-1 while the Bulgarians dropped to 1-6.
Earlier on Satuday, Iran defeated Canada 3-0
(25-21, 27-25, 25-18).
Amin Esmaeilnezhad (15), Amirhossein Esfandiar
(14) and Milad Ebadipour (10) were the best
scorers for the Iranian side (4-4).
Stephen Timothy Maar and Erick Loeppky had 18
and 13, respectively, for Canada (2-6) |
