RIMINI, Italy, June 2, 2021 – United States
scored an overwhelming victory in straight sets
over Thailand 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-16)
improving its overall record to 6-0 after two
rounds of the FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations
League.
The Americans outscored Thailand 47-26 in
attacks, 11-1 in blocks and 7-0 in serving aces.
Michelle Bartsch-Hackley had 18 points,
including three blocks and one ace, as the
leading scorer for the winning side. Jordan
Thompson added 17, also with three blocks, and
Kimberly Hill chipped in with 11 points.
Onuma Sittirak was the top scorer for Thailand
with just 7 points. |
