USA’S Aleksey Mikhailenko Boys U19 NORCECA MVP

PONCE, Puerto Rico, May 19, 2024.- Outside hitter Aleksey Mikhailenko of United States was named the Most Valuable Player of the Boys U19 NORCECA Continental Championship that finished on Sunday at the Salvador Dijols Coliseum of Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Mikailenko was also recognized as the first best spiker of the event along with a list of U.S. players that copped the individual awards during the closing ceremony.

Grant Lamoureaux received the second best spiker award. The two best middle blockers were Roman Payne and Luc  Scerensen, Rafael Urbina the best setter, Bluth Lxton the best receiver and Thomas Demps the best server.

Dominicans Malik Britton received the award for best opposite and Yandy Rodriguez was named the best libero and best digger.

Stanley Grant from Costa Rica was the best scorer with a total of 173 points.
