The United States team maintained its unbeaten
record by beating the Canadian team in its
second appearance in this World Championship.
The United States did not need more than 3 sets
to beat the Canadian team 3-0 (25-19, 26-24,
25-15), which suffered its second loss in the
tournament.
For the Americans, the best were Alexandra
Frantti and Andrea Drews with 15 and 14 points
respectively. For Canada Kiera Van Ryk
contributed 15 15 points and Alexa Gray added 9.
The next meetings of both teams will be in Lodz,
Poland on September 29 when the United States
faces Bulgaria and Canada faces Kazakhstan. |
