Merritt Beason, Top Scorer of United States:
“In all sense we were starting a little bit slow
because it was tougher and we were not playing
our real game, today was more challenging
getting into the groove of things. For tomorrow
we are going to focus on our side of the net and
try to stay in control and prepare well.
Volleyball is such a chemistry sport and our
best skill as we all love and support each other”.
Madyson Saris, Top Scorer of Canada:
“The team had a good grip, we played hard and
I’m proud about the fight we did on the floor,
especially against a team like the USA. We
battle hard in long rallies and tomorrow we will
give it our all”.
Daniel Fisher, Head Coach of United States:
“We started off every set too slow. Canada
changed number 4 (Bush) from position to
opposite and it was good for them. I want to
face Argentina tomorrow, we will study them,
they have very strong attackers, and it will be
a tough match. I am confident in my team that
they will do well”.
Carolyn O’Dwyer, Head Coach of Canada:
“A big difference today was our serve-pass game,
we were able to get our opponent out of system
with our serves. Overall, it was more
representative of the team that we are”. |
