Lodz, Poland, October 8, 2022.-
After losing the first two sets, the American
team managed to defeat Thailand in the second
stage of the Women's Volleyball World
Championship.
The United States won their third
match in phase 2 of the Championship beating the
Thai team in five sets with a score of 3-2
(23-25, 21-25, 25-19, 27-25, 15-13).
Haleigh Washington had 15 points
for the American team followed by Chiaka Ogbogu
and Alexandra Frantti who added 14 and 13 points
respectively. For Thailand Pimpichaya Kokram
scored 20 points and Chatchu-On Moksri added
another 18.
The United States finished Phase
2 with a 3-1 record. |
