ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay, August 22, 2025. The United States won the gold medal in men’s beach volleyball at the II Junior Pan American Games Asunción 2025, by defeating Brazil in the final this Friday at the Pynandí Stadium of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee.

The United States, with Gage Basey and Thomas Hurst, won the gold medal by defeating Isac Farias and José Jonathan Heleno de Menezes of Brazil 2 sets to 1. The Americans comfortably won the first set (21-11), the Brazilians recovered in the second set (21-16), leaving everything to the tie-break, in which the Stars and Stripes took the victory 15-7.
