United States, Nicaragua, and Mexico advance

to the Men's Semifinals in Juan Dolio

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, May 17, 2025 – The United States, Nicaragua, and Mexico advanced to the semifinals of the second stop of the 2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour after winning their respective quarterfinal matches this Saturday at the event held on the sand courts installed on Juan Dolio beach.

The American duo of Timothy Brewster and Ryan Ierna advanced after defeating Garrett Bucklin and Devin Van Siclen of the Virgin Islands 2-0 (21-14, 21-18), while Nicaragua's Rubén Mora and Dany López defeated Julián Araya and Jhostin Varela of Costa Rica 2-1 (19-21, 21-17, 15-11).

Mexicans Miguel Sarabia/Jorman Osuna advanced to the next round by defeating Lev Priima/Brian Miller of the United States 2-1 (16-21, 21-18, 15-11). Meanwhile, the pairing of Antonio Lares/Carlos Ayala, also from Mexico, advanced to the semifinals by defeating Canadians Dylan Devecseri/Rouzbeh Rahnavard 2-1 (17-21, 21-18, 15-12).

The positional matches, semifinals, and final will be held this Sunday.
