MARIGOT, Saint Martin, July 15, 2015 - A VCP Young Players
Course was held in Saint Martin from July 2-6 with the
participants learning about different aspects of the sport.
The five-day course covered the fundamentals of technique and of
team tactics.
The nine women on the course participated in the morning
sessions from 9.00-12.00, while the men attended the afternoon
sessions from 12.30-15.30.
The focus was on reviewing different technical and tactical
aspects of the sport, with FIVB Instructor André Glaive
emphasising the importance of commitment to training and skills
improvement.
The volleyball federation of Saint Martin hopes to organise
bi-annual courses for its coaches and players, with the support
of the FIVB and NORCECA. |
