VIS & Stats Commission held on-line Data Volley for VIS workshop

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, May 11, 2020 – The VIS & Statistics Commission of NORCECA organized an on-line three-hour workshop under the title Data Volley for VIS directed by Prof. Francisco Bañuelos of Mexico.

The activity took place on May 9 and Professor Bañuelos was assisted by Manuel Calderon, Yinet Cruz and Yeivic Jimenez.

The workshop forms part of a series of capacitation activities programmed by the commission presided over by Mrs. Judith Sandino of Nicaragua.

Earlier on May, the president of the commission organized a meeting via zoom with the members to know their situation under the current pandemic and get their approval of the working plan during this period of pause.
