BELIZE CITY, Belize, June 12, 2016 – A VIS Course was held in
Belize as part of the Impact Plan of NORCECA ahead of the start
of the first round qualification tournaments of the FIVB World
Championships next August.
The course took place from June 10 to 12 at the facilities of
Belize Elementary School with nine participants.
Judith Sandino of Nicaragua, president of the VIS and Statistics
Commission of NORCECA and member of the FIVB Technical
Commission, was the instructor of the course which consisted of
theoretical and practical sessions.
The participants in the course were the following:
Damien Alvarez, Shantell Arnold, Kay De Vaughn, Vito Fonseca,
Zaire Garbutt, Yemeri Reyes, Tichele Solis, Tisha Solis, Emily
