victories for Valencianas de Juncos, Pinkin de Corozal, and
Cangrejeras de Santurce in Wednesday’s matches.
At
Coliseo Rafael G. Amalbert, the Valencianas rallied after trailing
1-2 in sets to force a deciding tiebreak and split the points with

effective off the Juncos block from position two. On the next play,
a successful back-row attack by Jordan Wilson gave them set point.

secured the set for the Leonas.

9-3 with an attack by Leandra Mangual from position two. They
reached match point at 14-6 with Haley Bush scoring from the outside
and sealed the win on the next rally after an attack error by
Stephanie Enright.
