SHREVEPORT, Louisiana, June 6,
2022 – Kiera Van Ryk led a balanced attack as
Canada defeated Korea 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-16)
to even up their win-loss record at 2-2 in the
FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League on
Sunday.
Van Ryk scored 14 points,
including three blocks, and the team’s captain
Jennifer Cross added 13 with three blocks and 2
aces. Alexa Gray and Emily Maglio contributed 11
and 10 points in the victory.
Seonwoo Lee and Sohwi Kang each
had 7 points as the best scorers for the Korean
side.
Canada improved its record to 2-2
while Korea remains winless after four outings. |
