“Congratulations to Bahamas. They have shown that they are a
team of warriors. We congratulated for their victory against
Colombia. Against us they showed great resilience until the end.
The Central American and Caribbean Games are over for us. We are
not frustrated but we keep that feeling of aspiring for more. We
wanted to get in to the finals,” said Kervin Pinerua, captain of
Venezuela.
“Congratulations to Venezuela for finishing with a victory. We
tried to play tough but I think that after the match against
Colombia, our team was out of energy,” PrinceTanique Wilson,
captain of Bahamas remarked.
“Congratulations to Venezuela. We played with a lack of
consistency, with some ups and downs from day one until today,
but we need to keep on playing at this level and at least we
closed with one victory that has been a good accomplishment for
us,” remarked Devince Smith, coach of Bahamas.
“Like Kervin said before, We didn’t enough time to prepare. This
was a short tournament, not like the World Championship. However
this is not an excuse, but I expect to continue with the
Venezuelan team because I like this group as the Pan American
Games and the Olympic Cycle approach,” stated Vincenzo Nacci,
coach of Venezuela. |
