PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, June 17, 2016 – An FIVB Teachers Course
under the program Volleyball Your Way is currently running in
Haiti as part of the school program developed by the Haitian
Volleyball Federation.
Thirty-seven coaches and physical education teachers hailing
from 17 cities around the country are taking part in the course
that began on Wednesday and will conclude on Sunday June 19.
The course is under the direction of FIVB Instructor, André
Glaive who has conducted previous courses and clinics in Haiti.
Margarette Graham, president of the Haitian Volleyball
Federation, said most of the participants are involved in the
national school program implemented by the federation.
The course includes theoretical and practical sessions and all
the participants will receive certificates after completing all
the requirements.
The National Federation of Haiti has received the praise and
encouragement from NORCECA President Cristobal Marte Hoffiz and
CAZOVA President Mushtaque Mohammed for all the efforts made to
promote the practice of volleyball in the country through the
schools as it is designed in the Impact Plan of NORCECA
Confederation. |
