Volunteers did great job in St Croix
ST CROIX, Virgin Islands August 9, 2016 - Lucille Hobson,
President of the United States Virgin Islands Volleyball
Federation (VIVF) expressed her congratulations and recognition
for their work to all volunteers during the 2018 NORCECA World
Championship Qualification Tournament.
More than 50 technical and general volunteers at the Ronald "Ranche"
Charles Basketball Arena have contributed to making the
Volleyball Tournament a success.
“Thank you to all volunteers and everyone, who have made it
possible for the success of the 2018 NORCECA World Championship
Qualification Tournament Group A ,” expressed Hobson
After the first and second match all the court assistants,
moppers, and flag bearers joined together on the Ronald "Ranche"
Charles Basketball Arena court and received an applause by the
public for their work during the games that took place over the
weekend.
“They received nothing in return for their services, but have
done a great job to contribute to the success of this event,”
Hobson remarked on behalf of the the North American, Central
American and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) as
well as the United States Virgin Islands Volleyball Federation (VIVF).
The children and teenagers were the court assistants, moppers
and flag bearers assigned to each match daily. All of them posed
for the picture on the court that has been the stage of matches
played among 4 different teams from 4 different countries in the
female gender. |
