Women's Beach Volleyball begins at the 2026

Central American and Caribbean Games

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, July 23, 2026 – The women's beach volleyball tournament at the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games will begin this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (local time) with 19 pairs fighting for the gold medal.

The gold medal winners from the last edition of the Games, Puerto Ricans Allanis Navas and María González, have their sights set on the top of the podium.

Meanwhile, Dominican Julibeth Payano, silver medalist in San Salvador 2023, is seeking redemption, this time partnered with Crismil Paniagua, who won the Dominican Republic's first-ever gold medal in beach volleyball.

Meanwhile, Mexican Abril Flores is teaming up with Susana Torres to try to surpass the bronze medal they earned at the last Games. A total of 19 countries are competing in the women's beach volleyball tournament, divided into 4 groups.

Group Composition

Group A: Dominican Republic, U.S. Virgin Islands, El Salvador, Belize, Cayman Islands

Group B: Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Cuba, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Martinique

Group C: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada

Group D: Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bermuda, Jamaica

The first and second place finishers in each group will advance to the Round of 16, while the last place finishers will play in the consolation round.
