Workshops and clinics finish successfully in Cordoba
CORDOBA, Veracruz, Mexico, October 27, 2014 - The first phase of
training and practical clinics for volleyball matches protocols
as the XXII Central American and Caribbean Games of Veracruz
2014 get closer, concluded succesfully at “El Mexicano Gym”,
that will serve as training venue.
“We feel very glad and proud for all the good things we
achieved here during working and practice days with all of you”,
said Juan Manuel Zaragoza, member of the Referees Commission of
the Norceca Confederation.
Many youngsters and teenagers of the Panteras and Halcones
Volleyball Clubs, as well as, from several schools of the
Township of Cordoba took part in a match rehearsal. Also the
technical volunteers put in practice the knowledge acquired
during the Volleyball Information System seminar and courses.
The kids’ and teenagers’ families that will cooperate as “moppers”,
“quickies” and ball retrievers followed all the clinics and
drills activities at the gym, as preparation of the atmosphere
that will be lived during the Games.
Teamwork and the spirit of unity were two of the most important
factors remarked by Profesor Zaragoza, when closing the clinics,
workshops and drills.
“Just remember that this time it is not about the players of the
Panteras or Halcones clubs, for example,” He said. “We are now
one team, the staff of volunteers of the 2014 Central American
Games of Veracruz 2014 in Cordoba.”
In the case of the VIS there were theoretical and practical
sessions, with the goal to improve many details about running
the system, with two weeks away from the beginning of the games.
In the case of the press staff, the last strategies were exposed
in a meeting with the local organizing officers as well as some
members of the local media, who recived some ot the operational
manuals and materials provided by the Norceca Confederation, and
also the press areas working route were analyzed at the Cordoba
Arena. |
