Cuba won its third bronze medal

LIMA, Peru, August 19, 2018 - Cuba defeated Mexico 3-1 (25-15, 25-23, 22-25, 28-26) and won their third bronze medal in the Pan American Cup U23. Colombia wins the South American duel to Chile

LIMA, Peru, August 19, 2018 - Colombia swept Chile 3-0 in the South American duel for fifth place in the IV U23 Pan American Cup. In 1 hour 14 minutes those led by Bryan Silva got triumph with partial scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-13. Comfortable victory for Colombia over Guatemala

LIMA, Peru, August 18, 2018 - The young team of Colombia won a comfortable 3-0 victory over Guatemala (25-14, 25-13, 25-13) and on Sunday 19th, they will play for the fifth place against Chile. In 1 hour 7 minutes of play, the team of Bryan Silva managed to completely deactivate his opponent with the power of his serve to get 8 points in service. Chile gets victory over Costa Rica

LIMA, Peru, August 18, 2018 - Chile claimed a 3-0 victory over Costa Rica (25-12, 25-22, 25-14) and will play on Sunday for the fifth place against the winner of the match between Colombia and Costa Rica. Controlling from the serving area, the Dominican Republic showed all the variants of their effective attack by their top scorers Gaila Gonzalez, Brayelin Martínez and Jineiry Martínez who had 17, 13 and 10 points, respectively.
