USA’s Babcock and Treamer take women’s title in St Lucia
GROS ISLET, St Lucia, October 28, 2012 – The USA team of Kathryn
Babcock and Tracilyn Weamer recovered from losing the first set
and went on to edge Costa Rica’s Ingrid Morales and Natalia
Alfaro in a thrilling gold-medal match of the St Lucia Beach
Volleyball Tournament, the ninth stop of the 2012 NORCECA
Circuit at Pigeon Point Beach on Sunday.
The American pair lost their first set of the weekend to the
hands.

Montgomery and Mesko win over compatriots in St Lucia
GROS ISLET, St Lucia, October 28, 2012 – William Montgomery and
Jonathan Mesko of USA-1 defeated compatriots Jeffrey Carlson and
Antonio Ciarelli of USA-2 by scores of 21-13, 24-22 in an
All-American gold medal match in the men’s competition of the St
Lucia Beach Volleyball Tournament, the ninth stop of the 2012
NORCECA Circuit. Despite being challenged a couple of times
during the weekend, Montgomery and Mesko won the ten sets the

Caribbean men’s teams reach semifinals in St Lucia
GROS ISLET, St Lucia, October 27,
2012 – Two teams from the Caribbean region are for the first
time in the semifinals of an event of the NORCECA Beach
Volleyball Circuit, which speaks loudly about the progress
achieved in recent times. The Trinidad & Tobago-A team of Fabien
Whitfield and Daniel Williams and the home boys Julian Bissette
and Joseph Clercent of St Lucia-A had to battle hard to reach
the final-four stage of the Saint Lucia Beach Volleyball
Tournament, the ninth stop of 2012.

Morales and Alfaro shine under the sun in St Lucia
GROS ISLET, St Lucia, October 27, 2012 - With hot sun over their
heads, the female teams started to play Saturday’s matches
thinking about the finals with the morning being decisive for
the next contests.
At the end of the long day, teams from Costa Rica, United
States, Canada and Trinidad & Tobago-A made it into the
semifinals of the Saint Lucia Beach Volleyball Tournament, the
ninth stage of the 2012 NORCECA Circuit.

GROS ISLET, St Lucia, October 26, 2012 – The St Lucia Beach
Volleyball Tournament, ninth stop of the 2012 NORCECA Circuit,
kicks off on Friday morning at Pigeon Point Beach with 22
matches –twelve men’s and ten women’s.
The preliminary enquiry and general technical meeting took place

St
Lucia to host ninth stop of NORCECA Circuit
GROS ISLET, St. Lucia, October 22, 2012 – The NORCECA Beach
Volleyball Circuit will make its first ever visit to St Lucia
with seventeen men’s pairs and sixteen women’s duets
participating in the three-day competition from October 26-28.
The event will serve off at Pigeon Island National Landmark in Gros Islet where a temporary seating venue has been set up.
A total of 18 different countries will be represented in the
ninth stage of the successful 2012 beach volleyball tour.
Over eighty individuals are volunteering their services to
