Nivaldo and Sergio capped actions with gold at Varadero

VARADERO, Cuba, August 30, 2015 – Nivaldo Díaz and Sergio Hernandez of Cuba-A outclassed Christian Redmann and Felipe Humana of Canada-A 2-0 (21-13, 21-13) to win the men’s gold medal at the Varadero Tournament, the fourth stop of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit held for the fifth consecutive year at the beautiful tourism spot. USA’s Sara Hughes and Kelly Claes crowned in Varadero

VARADERO, Cuba, August 30, 2015 – The USA-A duo of Sara Hughes and Kelly Claes took home the women’s crown at the fourth stage of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit by defeating the home Cuban team of Leila Martínez and Lidianni Echeverria (CUB-A) 2-0 (21-18, 24-22) to close the Varadero Tournament at Barceló Solymar Arenas Blancas Resort. United States and Cuba go for women’s crown in Varadero

VARADERO, Cuba, August 29, 2015 – The teams of United States-A and Cuba-A won the right to play for the women’s title of the fourth stage of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball circuit where players from 15 countries competed at Varadero. Cuba and Canada to play for men’s gold in Varadero

VARADERO, Cuba, August 29, 2015 – The top teams of Cuba and Canada will meet on Sunday for the men’s gold medal at the fourth stop of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit successfully taking place at the Barcelo Solymar Arenas Blancas Resort in Varadero. The home boys Nivaldo Diaz and Sergio Gonzalez, bronze medalists at the Pan American Games in Toronto, will play visitors Christian Redmann and Felipe Humana as they continue their seek for a second title this year. Cuba’s men dominate at Varadero

VARADERO, Cuba, August 28, 2015 – The two país of Cuba dominated their rivals in pools C and D and Canada-A in pool A advancing to the quarterfinals of Saturday after the definition of pool B in the fourth phase of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit. 30 pairs from 15 countries in Varadero

VARADERO, Cuba, August 27, 2015 – Fifteen countries and the same number of duos per gender will be represented at the fourth stage of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit to take place on the sands of Barcelo-Solymar-Arenas Blancas Hotel in Varadero, Cuba.

Canada and Cuba are entering with two teams per gender while the United States are fielding two women’s teams and one men’s duo. Six other countries are represented in both segments and the rest with men’s teams except Mexico and Guatemala that registered two and one women’s duo, respectively. More  Español
